Replacing the "Love" Rating with "Winner" vs. Having Both

Hi, all! I'm going to start working with @sun rise on bringing back the old rating options, but I found out that the ratings we had in the previous software were apparently from a plug-in made by an individual XenForo user...

If we disable any of the current ratings, the points accrued from it will also go away. I also don't want the reaction list to have too many ratings, so I'm thinking of replacing the current "Love" rating with "Winner." As far as I know, that should preserve the rating points but change the title and icon of the rating.

What do you think? Would you agree with that change, or would you rather keep the "Love" rating in addition to the "Winner" one?

If it is not a strain on the system I would like to keep both. But if one has to go it is definitely the "love" frubal. It is more than a bit creepy.

I wouldn't mind seeing the current 'love' frubal replaced with something closer to the old one. I think the message it displays is very different from the old one.

Yah... Can we just have the heart emoji again? When I want to show support for someone who's going through hard times, there is no longer an emoji for that. I feel weird using the heart eyes one, and I don't want to thumbs up someone's mom dying

As far as I know, there is no longer anything in the software that shows a breakdown of ratings one received by type, unless I've missed something. So I don't see how replacing a rating with another would have any impact on ratings.

However, I would find it sad to replace love with wins. Though I would like to see the currently love icon replaced with a heart or something like that as @JustGeorge mentions. The current one screams, "I'm hot for you!"

Why not replace the love icon with a heart and rename it "friendly" as it was with the previous version of the software?

I voted both, assuming there is no real cost in doing so.
I don't see why I should be stopped from spreading my love promiscuously to the denizens of RF.
