"a deity that has been revealed or spoken to a large group of people"What do you mean by mass revelation.
In Hinduism we recognise that human beings all have unique lives and God resides within the individual. As such God makes Himself known to individuals in unique ways. This means that the individual narrates his experience of God and he may be convincing which means he acquires a following. This is the manner in which mass revelation works. Most people do not know enough about God to narrate their experiences and so the revelation remains hidden from the world. Anyone can have a revelation of God if he or she is determined to follow the path to God-realisation.Is there an example of "mass revelation" in Hinduism?,if yes please give me your source.
