Lol! Probably doesn't mean much. I mean we only have two reviews and three stars out of a possible five.

I'm guessing we scored so well because most people who post reviews to places like trust pilot or site jabber do so to complain or to get even for getting banned, so instead of taking this to mean that people like us more it's probably more accurate to say that people hate us less. :D

Still cool though.

One thing I notice about RF is that, while opinions of it may not always be all roses, all the time, there does seem to be a pretty high attach rate (people who stick around at least awhile after posting).

We could actually learn and gain from the reviews.

I agree. Between reading site jabber and trustpilot I've already learned that a lot of people are vindictive nut jobs.

I've often thought the internet is quite reminiscent of some of the old social psychology experiments they'd do in the 50s and 60s. You know...the ones now banned for ethical reasons.

I wrote a review once about RF on another page, but I might update it some time for accuracy, as it more reflected my feelings at the time (probably the same year the site search function went down for 3 weeks), and some things I wrote were confusing, if I can update it,

I'll probably just add, "Yo, I'd like to report I'm still around on the forum, getting more used to things. I'm slow at getting to know people, and sometimes being cast in with different personalities is hard. Going to try to keep up better."

This was after I kind of expressed in my 2020, 5-star review that I had a feeling of "not fitting in".

Looking back, it was more, I think, that I tried too hard to fit in in late 2019/2020, without realizing that the particular few people I tried to fit in with, weren't people that I'd fit in with. Sometimes just joining a forum, you lack the backstory to know what types you'll fit in with.

Given the findings about how lies and gaslighting on the internet impacts people's beliefs, I tend to agree with you.

When I looked up religious discussion forums I found a top ten list and this place was number 2.
