Smoke
Done here.
I agree. Happily, some of my old favorites are still around, and some newer members have become favorites, too.I miss me. This place just isn't the same for me when I'm not here.
I see some of the ones who have already been named on another forum, so I don't really miss them.
Maize/Green Gaia was the one who invited me here, and she was always one of my favorite members. Pah/Bright-ness' Shadow was another of my favorites, and though he's been here within the past month he hardly ever posts anymore.
Terrywoodenpic and Jay are other favorites who don't post as much as they used to, though Terry's been here within the last few weeks, and Jay was actually here today.
BrandonE is another one who may not exactly be gone, but isn't around enough to suit me.
No*S and James the Persian were my favorite Orthodox posters, and I always enjoyed reading their posts and appreciated the way they dealt with me as a former Orthodox Christian.
Nehustan was thoughtful and intelligent and talented, and I miss him very much and wonder whatever became of him. I have a CD of his music and I still listen to it. I especially liked the way he referred to God as "my invisible friend." I wish I had spent more time talking to him. Same goes for Linwood.
I thought I missed Anade, but it turned out she just changed her username over and over till I lost track of her, and she never left at all.
Robtex would have been on my list, but I've been glad to see he's been coming around more lately.
Jeffrey comes around some, but I still miss him and Rebecca. I do have the means to contact them outside of RF, but I'm not very good at keeping up with correspondence.
Somebody named Ceridwen, and I didn't think she was exactly gone, but I would like to see more of her and Mr. Spinkles.
I saved Retrorich for last, and I think it's about time somebody actually quoted one his posts:
This year, as is my custom, I will celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the spirit of the first Thanksgiving. I will invite some neighbors over for dinner, then kill them and steal their land.
