I wouldn't want to be in its direct path but I sure wouldn't mind getting some of the rain fall along the SF bay. Not much is expected.

It looks like the area with the highest risk of flash flooding would be in the Inland Empire region, as well as desert cities like Palm Springs and even up into Death Valley.

Looks like it's bypassing Arizona, although Vegas and Southern Nevada are in for some heavy rain.

Thanks to both of you. Our weather is still good, we're fine, and expect to be relatively unaffected. It's overcast today.

We live on the north shore of the lake just south of Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco, which also contains Puerto Vallarta on its northernmost "Left Coast."

Yikes... How many hurricanes do we get in the west side of the US? This is my first time hearing about one. Tropical storms yes, but hurricanes?

On the news they asked some people in LA if they thought LA was ready/prepared for this..
