BWAHAHAHAHA!!! My favorite episode so far!!! Super witty Pat! You've really outdone yourself on this one. I'd like to state specifically what I enjoyed, but so many of the smart little quips made me literally laugh out loud that I can't pick one! Love it!

(Can't wait to see me again next episode! ;))

LOL! Great job, Cardero. I like how Jay is Grumpy the dwarf, hahaha!
"Village of the Banned"....and the crunching of the guitars....love it!

PLEASE don't hesitate to make fun of me in a future cartoon!! I remember a long time ago you wrote a story about RF members, and you portrayed me as some sort of PT Barnum - type fast-talker saying "Step right up!"

Fun episode, gang! Looking good and keeping up the humor and the good artwork. The reptile was cute. They do have pretty scales. I don't want to be a ninja, either. They do strike quick, though.

With all the available staff members on away missions the REX31504 has taken extreme measures to insure that the community maintains order and peace. Administrator Emeritus RexAdmin, Michel and Green Gaia are called back from retirement. Caladan, Moonwater and Einstein are declared as new moderators. Reserve members Painted Wolf, Lunamoth, Katzpur and Victor have return to their staff posts. Against the better reasoning of the current Administration, the new Citizen Mod program is introduced and implemented to round out and complete the moderating ranks. Four RF members have been selected for this temporary Citizen Mod position to uphold a duty that holds great responsibility toward maintaining stability to the Religious Forum community.

Wonderful job, my little droogers. I must point out page 2, panel 2 and say how good it looks. The drawing and production work are very good. There's an ominous feeling with that panel. The story, art, and production work is very good all around for this episode. Those Citizen Mods are a bit too, um, strict, I would say. Also there's something familiar about the Volarian Citadel. And, as for the last panel.. ahoy maties!!

This was my favorite panel out of the whole episode. When I was researching images from the movie for the first page, I came across that image as well and I thought, oh yes, I have to put that in there somewhere. I actually had the easiest part but mrscardero was the real star, she worked a lot of magic in that panel. I offer both images for comparison.

This episode of The Mod Squad; The Next Generation is dedicated to the memory of
Jose “Pepe” Gonzalez (1939-2009).

Previously On The Mod Squad; The Next Generation…

Administrator MysticSang’ha is given the assignment of taking a crew to the Village Of The Banned. Their mission; Find the missing RF member MidnightBlue and bring him back to the REX31504. Joining MysticSang’ha is Administrator Mister_T, Staff Moderators Gentoo, Guitar’s Cry, Ringer and RF members MBall1297 and StephenW. JayHawker Soule is recruited last minute as their guide to City 16.

Upon landing, the RF crew quickly goes undercover. Entering the city, the group can’t help but shake the feeling that something is wrong. Jayhawker Soule confirms that the place is not as he remembered it. The town is in poor condition and the streets eerily quiet. The team quickly realizes through the remaining town’s residence that there is a conflict with a raiding army called the Renegades that has just came into power and that they are responsible for the city’s moral and social decline.

Through information provided from a small resistance, the enemy’s headquarters are located as well as information leading to the whereabouts of MidnightBlue who seems to have been captured by the cult. The RF search party quickly makes haste to Howe Caverns where they learn that the Renegade’s charismatic leader Artero is raising a revolt not only against City 16 but also has another evil agenda in mind for his followers. In revenge for being banned, they plan on invading the REX31504 and taking over the Religious Forums Community!

I like this part (Religious Forums doesn't negotiate with trolls). :D

I also like the way the "Smoke" character has been presented.

That was really brilliant .... and yeah, Mystic is hot. :D

I still get a kick out of the fact that my character is taller than most of the other characters. I don't get that perspective much in my real life. :D

Oh, and good call with the tribute to Josephine Baker. I adore her and her legacy as a fearless dancer.

Another fun and funny episode. I seem to remember someone else doing a fan-dance in some movie where the trekked through some stars, though the woman doing the fan-dance in that movie probably shouldn't have, and they probably should've just not made the rest of the movie.

Hmm, there's something marvellous about "Smoke". He seems raw but he's not hiding anything, that kid.
