Has your religious and/or political beliefs changed in any significant way due to your interactions here? If so, in what way?
Its going to take more than....
Random people pointlessly arguing about believing/not believing in religion/a god
And
Random people complaining/whinning about politics and the other party

To have any affect on my mind set.

What do you feel would affect your mindset?

What do you feel would affect your mindset?

To name a few....

People I know, and people...
-that don't have the mind set of "I'm right, you're wrong" when its comes to religion and/or politics
-that don't let religious beliefs/or lack of beliefs cloud their mind or judgement
-that don't let their political preference cloud their mind or judgement
-that accept everyone doesn't have to agree with them or see things their way
-that don't judge the worth of a person because of their difference in opinions/thoughts
-that are open minded and will call a spade a spade even if its goes against their own core foundation

Examples.....
See how many dems agree with this...
Biden's too old, his mind is fading, he needs a written script for nearly everything he says so he needs to bow out and be done in 2024.

See how many repubs agree with this ..
Trump is too old, a narcissist, and a self-centered idiot that shouldn't be running in 2024.

Edit: to add a few more...
-I own guns and hunt,, Bob doesn't. I'm not better or smarter than Bob and Bob isn't better oh smarter than me because he doesn't.

-a god may or may not exist. No one will know until they die. IOW no one knows.. People should quit telling others they are going to hell for not believing and people should quit calling others crazy for believing.

I can see that. Its hard to learn from someone who says(figuratively speaking)"let me tell you why you're wrong..."

Those I've learned the most from never sought out to teach me.

No not at all. To be honest, conversations here do not have the depth required for that sort of change.
One thing that RF did give me though, especially in my earlier years here, is an appreciation of the Abrahamic religions as a field of study.

Oh my, did I say that!

I can't say that my overall outlook on religions (and such) or politics has changed that much since being on RF, but I think I do have a better appreciation and understanding of many beliefs that are expounded here and perhaps why they are so - which is more my aim in being here given I don't expect to see change in belief occurring that often - in either religious belief or politics. We might present evidence that we believe is relevant but I don't expect others to accept such wholesale just as I hope others who have personal experiences would hardly expect me to accept these as they present to the person. Such is the sceptical life.

Yes, when I first joined over a year ago, I was an ex-Christian and wanted nothing to do with religion. I had renounced my faith after 30 years as a Christian, and I was adamant that I was done with religion when I joined. But as time went on, I came across a few posts by some pagan members that piqued my interest and prompted me to investigate paganism, which led me to Wicca. I began to do more research on Wicca and found myself really drawn to it, so I decided to practice it. Not long after that, a friend introduced me to spiritualism. Being a Wiccan and spiritualist has been a positive experience for me.
