Riddles to Realization

Itself

Member
the answer to just one of the never-ending riddles
that reality needs UN-answered
to appear real
is “realization.”

Why is physics' ONLY certainty its Uncertainty Principle?
Where is all the anti-matter that matter needs to exist?
How can different things be the same?
How can everything be the same?
Why does physics tell us that the Observer determines the observation?
Why is this observer ALWAYS at the center of the universe and ALSO at its expanding edge... and everywhere between?
And if the Observer is always at the center of the Universe then how can he move?
Why does the fastest thing, “Light”, have no time to move let alone speed?
Why did god create something he must hate to keep his religions happy?
Why is god's worst curse his religions?
How is a thought different from a memory?
Why do we have choice but NEVER ever when we want/need it? (Like a choice not to have cancer, a choice not to be poor or sick or not to get killed/raped, abused, insulted... like a choice not to die... like a choice not to be born.)
If we can control our thoughts then why do we have morons and idiots... especially educated morons and idiots?
If we can control thinking then why can't we snap our fingers to turn it off?

… etc etc etc

the answer to just one of these riddles
OBVIOUSLY answers
ALL the mysteries/riddles of the Universe
to be the spiritual “realization”

– the "realization" that actually de-realizes “reality.”

really, Really; REALLY.

I would like to adress "choices.
You have free will. Choices are defined in the world as what you consider Then from what concepts you have sorted though you decide.
while you mentioned that you want a choice not to have cancer. Depending on if you smoke or what life style you live it would be within you to always decide[or make a choice to select that what you eat that may not give you it;Or, find the wisdoms to insure that all the choices you make avoid them.
As for chooseing not to be poor that is a given. Explore the choices to keep it from happening.
A choice not to be born?
That was not your choice to begin with. That came from the choices your parents made & the DNA that they contributed to see you come to life to form your own opinions & choices.
EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO DECIDE YOU MADE A CHOICE.
CHOICES ARE IMPORTANT. The basis of them be it morals & ethics, feelings, thoughts,or a belief are how you manage your life!!!!

Are you asking these questions in earnest or are you speaking rhetorically? Most of these questions are either non-sequiturs or betray a flawed understanding of the subject matter.

I will address the subject of control simply for sake of argument.

Control is not absolute. Absolute power does not exist in anything we do. Nowhere is it seen that the power of existence: to revoke or create existence is possible. It is possible to change the form of a thing; even to the point that the original thing seems to not exist anymore, but what is not possible is to remove all impact of that thing. So control by its very nature is less than absolute. Asking why you cannot just turn off your own consciousness though... that seems rather silly to me. If you did turn off your own consciousness how would you possess the faculty or desire to ever turn it back on?

Acting like you are wise is a lot easier than actually becoming wise. And speaking like you are wise without having the content to match makes it seem like you are abusing the anonymity of the forum for self-aggrandizement.

Animals have the ability to make choices. That ability is not, however, free will. Free will is a religious term that means GOD gave you the ability to choose, freely. That is patently nonsense, since no god or gods exist. What is factual is that all animals can make choices, but every choice they make has a cost. Choosing is NOT free, exercising will is NOT free, there is a cost to every decision you make or choose not to make. If you get up in the morning and leave the house, you may be hit by a bus, if you stay in bed you may be hit by a meteorite. A cockroach can decide to run to the light or dark and can learn to change his mind and make different choices. Cockroaches soon learn that if they go into the dark and receive an electrical charge, that they need to exercise their will and make a different choice. The penalty for going into the dark might be an electric shock and the penalty for running to the light, might mean a large shoe on the head--Choices have consequences/penalties/costs.
