I just read about his death. I am convinced to think it was an accident.
I hope so.
It's absolutely unexaplainable. He was the the emblem of the victory of life over death. And he was still pretty young.

By the way, he never did anything wrong.
He survived because he was a chemist, and let's not forget that IG Farben, which built Auschwitz was the largest petrochemical industrial complex in the world at that time.

We cannot deny that he himself admits he survived because he wanted to live. And so he endured anything. Any humiliation or oppression.
And he almost felt guilty for surviving, whereas he shouldn't have.
It's very interesting what he says.
