Right Front Burner

The right front burner is the best burner.

Prove me wrong.

Here is the proof that i prefer the right burner (or left burner for frying)... No right front or left front. I do have a center front but having knocked a couple of pans off it i have decided it's a little dangerous so only use it in times of dire need.

Er, you are wrong, because "best" has no meaning for a cook selecting a burner. ;)

On mine, the right front is the smallest, so useful for small pans, or things that cook slowly with constant attention, like risotto. But it is the absolute worst for grilling, for which the front left is the only one able to heat the griddle pan enough. It is also no good for keeping a large pan at a rolling boil, as you need for cooking pasta, for which the big back right one is the best. And for long term simmering of a large pot it is too tiny, only heating the centre, so for that the medium burner at the back left is best, together with a heat diffuser.

So, in summary, :p

My right front burner is a “Power Burner”. It has extra holes for more gas to flame. It cooks somewhat faster than the other burners. The left rear is a “Simmer Burner”. It cooks with a lower flame though it does boil. I kind of prefer that one.

But what if you have a stove top and you stand on the other side of the counter....then its the back left burner
And if there's only one burner, is it simultaneously
right front, left front, right rear, left rear, & center?
