Right Wing Activist Warns of Armed Rebellion If Genuine Patriots Don't Win in 2022

Kooky

Freedom from Sanity
I made one post that complied with the theme
of the thread by advocating that authorities
address potential right wing violence covered
in the OP. To add that all potential violence
should be covered is not derailment.

If you & the other guy are so offended by that
addition, you might consider why this benign
addition is so triggering.
Note also that you & he are the ones who
continue pursuing this matter. I don't really
care, but I do respond when alerted to posts
addressed to me.
Don't like it? Let it drop.
Post to me? I'll respond.
So why did you trivialize ethnic violence by not bringing up the Armenian genocide?

Wasn't something supposed to happen this month (August)?
the 13th or something like that. If something happens, I hope the police respond with as much vigor and disproportionate violence as they did last summer.

Of course, your criticism is only for the other side.
Some of us oppose all such violence.
But you came here to object to that.

Mike Lindell set August 13 as the date in his bonkers theory that Trump will be reinstated as president
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said he believed former President Donald Trump would take the impossible step of being reinstated as president on August 13.

Speaking to Brannon Howse on the conservative WVW Broadcast Network on Sunday, Lindell said that by that date Trump's reinstatement would "be the talk of the world."

"Donald Trump won," he claimed. "I mean, it's pretty simple, OK?"

This is from a July 5th Tweet
Mike Lindell says by August 13, the talk of the world will be to overturn the election and get the communists out. He also said there will be many down ticket senators that will have different election results.

This was his next Tweet...

Ya know....so many people object to any broadening of
a criticism of wrongful acts by the group they hate.
Lefties are the worst at this. They say that no one should
engage in "bothsiderism" & "whataboutism".
But do they ever object to this in threads criticizing their side?
No.
These days, Biden & Harris critics are immediately met
with a chorus singing Trump's faults & misdeeds.
At least I directly addressed the OP before broadening
it to all threats.

They claim derailing here. But who keeps posting to me
arguing over the minor claim they object to?
They do....derailing their own thread. I'm not the one
keeping this alive...just responding to leftish posts that
alert me.

Still waiting for you to show where I was "excusing leftish violence".

I was.
What you say.
What you don't say.
And what you attack.
What you continue to say, not say, & attack.
Those all combine to show your views & values.
That's a non-answer.

To review, in Post #34 you accused me of "excusing leftish violence".

In Post #39 I asked you to show where I had done that.

You did not reply to that post.

In Post #49 I reiterated my request for you to show where I'd "excused leftish violence".

In Post #50 you said you had "addressed it already", despite having never replied to my request in Post #39.

In Post #51 I asked where you'd addressed my request, which prompted your non-answer above.

At this point it looks very much like you made a false accusation against me and when asked to back it up, you chose to ignore the request, likely hoping it would just go away. But once I reiterated my request for you to back up your accusation against me, you made yet another false claim (that you'd already addressed it), and are now dodging around.

That's extremely dishonest behavior and does not reflect well on you. You could have done better, but instead chose to double down on your dishonesty. So be it.

Lax gun laws and authorities embolden white extremists in Vermont (usatoday.com)

There’s a movement metastasizing across America. It’s well armed, it’s extreme, and it’s led largely by white men. They’re enraged, they’re feeling entitled, and they’re taking ground wherever it’s given. And while the movement clearly got new wind in its sails under the Trump administration, it’s now self-sustaining. The Jan. 6 insurrection on Capitol Hill was just the tip of this seething iceberg, as last week’s anguished police testimony to Congress made clear. This movement isn’t going away anytime soon.

It’s everywhere. It’s even in Vermont, where I live, which some people mistakenly consider a progressive haven. It’s bullied countless people of color in Vermont – who had to flee their communities because it became increasingly hostile and unsafe for them – and now it’s pushing me out, too. I’m selling my farm this summer, in fact, because the assault-weaponed bullies are winning on my road, and I refuse to stoop to their level and weaponize myself to fight back.

It's a sad story and one I fear reflects what others have been reporting from other parts of the country. One of Trump's main accomplishments was to unite otherwise disparate fringe groups (white supremacists, militias, gun nuts, Christian theocrats) under a common cause, as evidenced by the Jan. 6 insurrection. As the rest of the country continues to move on from the 2020 election, and as Trump and his cronies continue to ramp up their rhetoric about the "big lie of the stolen election", I fully expect that some of these groups will at least try and pull off some sort of attack.

Hopefully law enforcement will be able to stop them before they succeed.

Yeah, so, that was in response to Rev equating Jan.6 to BLM protests, not my actual position.
He's operating very much like the stereotypical creationist, where after being shown a scientific paper, they ignore it for awhile, then later claim "I already addressed it", and when you ask where they did, they evade and dodge around until you get frustrated and give up.

I guess among the small-minded, that's considered a "victory".

Nearly half of Republicans say 'a time will come when patriotic Americans have to take the law into their own hands,' new poll shows

“Less than a year after a pro-Trump mob stormed the US Capitol, nearly half of Republican voters (47%) say that ‘a time will come when patriotic Americans have to take the law into their own hands,’ per a new nationwide survey by George Washington University's School of Media and Public Affairs.

The poll also found that a majority of Republicans (55%) say ‘the traditional American way of life is disappearing so fast we may have to use force to save it.’

Pretty much says it all.

You're still at this? That's quite inaccurate.
I only stated that government should address
right wing & all other potentially violent threats.
This must've offended because of tacit approval
of left wing violence.
