Disagree. It's the exact wrong approach. We need to work more closely and cooperatively with our Latin American neighbors, to help improve the conditions in their countries so we don't have so many desperate to come here.

I do agree with this one. I think this is what gave him much of the blue-collar support from the Rust Belt states. The Democrats folded up and gave in to the Republicans on free trade back in the 1990s, and the party hasn't been the same since. It's interesting that it's reversed, now that the Republicans seem to be against free trade, while the Democrats remain zealously for it.

I think you mean keeping trans-women out of women's sports. A trans-man is one who started life without any manly bits.

I can see why it might be controversial to trans-women, at the very least. Years of hormone therapy have rendered them incapable of meaningfully competing in men's sports, so banning them from women's sports just says to them, "forget sports, nobody wants to play with you."

The OP overlooks one of the major policy statements in the new Republican platform. The new platform has a significant abortion stance. The new stance is against on Federal involvement on abortion, for or against, and is that it is an issue that should be left to each individual state.

Yeah. And some of the points I think most people could agree on. What worries me, though, is the anti-environment/anti-conservation things he will pursue; I assume it will be similar or worse that his first term.
