In Romans 8:38-39. It says we will not be separated by God's love by neither things present or in the future. One of the things listed that will not separate us from God's love present or future is death. What did the author mean by that?

I think it's self explanatory, don't you?

Why do you ask what Jehovah's Witnesses think of it? The important thing is what do you think of it.
I think @Frank Goad just wants to make sure JWs share in the topic, so he can get their view. It's a good question you raised though, and one I am sure Frank may be thinking about already.

@Frank Goad I am interested, actually curious, to know what you think, but at the same time, perhaps these scripture may help. John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4
Do you think, Frank, that since God will restore life to those who die, and are in his "memory", that their death will separate them from God's love?

@nPeace, think of the import of Ezekiel 18:4.....Jehovah says, “All the souls...to Me they belong.” Then the verse ends by stating souls “die.”

What, does Jehovah have a fetish with “dead” souls? Of course not! It’s implying that these persons, their future life prospects, are in Jehovah’s hands. Jesus indicated a similar usage of ‘soul’ in Matthew 10:28.

Take care, my brother!

I was just stating it because it reinforces what we know about Jehovah and His love....that all people, when they die, they "belong" to Jehovah. It doesn't say only the good; but all people resurrected, which we know from the Bible includes all those in Hades/Sheol/Hell, will experience Jehovah's compassion in giving them another chance to live. The second time, though, they will be taught and know the truth -- no deception -- so they can make an informed decision, whether they want to accept Jehovah's rule, or not.

It's just nice to know that every person's future life chances, post-death, are in Jehovah's hands; they "belong" to Him. No one can alter it!

Yes, not only the righteous will be resurrected, but the unrighteous as well, but the wicked are annihilated forever, and no wicked person is in God's memory.
Acts 24:15 . . .I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

There is a nice article here.

Is there hope for the dead?
Death is like sleep in that the dead are unconscious and cannot do anything. However, the Creator of life can bring the dead back by means of a resurrection. In proof of that, God empowered Jesus to raise several dead people to life. - Read Ecclesiastes 9:5; John 11:11, 43, 44.

God has promised that the dead who are in his memory will be resurrected to life in a righteous new world. Those who will be resurrected must remain in death until God gives them life again. Almighty God yearns to use his power to restore life to the dead. - Read Job 14:14, 15.
