Romantic or weird?

I mean...this Italian girl texted the company of the Airports of Rome, in order to help her find an American boy she had met on a train. He had told her he would have taken the plane to NYC.

I think that if a man had done that...well...he wouldn't be considered normal.
For a girl it's easier, maybe to chase men...with that volition.

Weird.

If they didn't exchange numbers, he probably isn't interested in continuing to talk. It also seems like maybe a bit of a crossed boundary to reach out to the company that has his personal information in order to get information about him that he didn't give her himself.

If a guy did this, it would probably make me afraid to use that public transit system again.

My threat detection is admittedly still a little hyperactive, though, so I might not be the best person to ask.

Here in the US, I'd say that men pursue women much more often than vice versa.

However, I agree that there are some things which women can do that's considered weird if a man does, and vice versa.

Here finding a heterosexual, romantic man who is into such stuff is like demanding to find snow in the Great Canyon. :)

It depends. :)
We don't know what Giulia and Aiden said to each other on that train.
Knowing Italian girls and how proud they are, it's very probable that there may be mutual chemistry between the two.
Italian girls seldom chase men who aren't interested.

PS: I am surprised you aren't mystified by that girl's English skills.
I mean...come on...
It makes you want to commit suicide...
the new generations...

I honestly don't even believe this actually happened, because the internet has taught me to assume that anything I can't prove myself is a lie, so I just assumed it was a sloppy Google-translate on the part of the meme maker who couldn't be bothered to clean it up.

I decided to answer the scenario as a hypothetical, anyway.

And isn't that frustrating?
Given that kids in Italy learn English since kindergarten?

Maybe you're right, it's just that it seems unlikely to me...

I'm so confused by this response. I'm going to be honest; I don't know why you're bringing that up.

Is it because you think the person making the meme isn't really Italian or made it for a non-Italian audience, and you're cluing me in about additional context regarding where you found this meme?

Or are you just being racist, because you think I'm a stupid American that doesn't know that most Western Europeans know English, so you feel the need to "dumb it down" for me?

I was friends with a woman who actually has done things like this. She considered herself a "hopeless romantic." It always ended in disaster, but she never learned.

Never an airport, but she did contact, for example, hotel staff to get the room number of a cute guy that she saw.

Unfortunately, some people see stories like these and find them aspirational, which gets mistranslated in the real world. That's why it's sometimes important to treat them seriously and have genuine conversations about them, regardless of how bizarre they might seem.

None of the above.
I was expressing my disappointment in the new generations who don't study hard. That's all. :)

Quite creepy. Probably fake also.

I'd be furious if a hotel gave my room number to some random woman.

According to this article...the story is true, and there was affinity between the two.

There is also the rumor that redhead men are volcanoes in bed...so I perfectly understand Giulia.
Well, I wonder how things worked out for them.
