Dumb Russian soldiers expose themselves
to high radiation levels in Red Forest near
Chernobyl reactor.
What a bunch'o murderous clowns, eh.

I think this is less an example of dumb Russian soldiers and more one of callous military leaders who don't care about the well-being of the men who serve under them.

The Russian army is pretty infamous for the terrible way it treats its conscripted recruits even in peace time.

I doubt Russia's military will continue tolerating heavy losses from engaging in close combat with the Ukrainian territorial defense forces who are well equipped and well trained by the West. I predict Russian will change tactics towards engaging in a war of attrition.

They already have by bombing residences, stores, hospitals, etc.
Putin is driving the population away by either death or fleeing,
since they can't live there anymore.

I am quite the optimist for there to be an off ramp for Putin to save face and cease his military operations in Ukraine by way. of a peace settlement acceptable to both Russia and Ukraine I am the only poster here on RF who has proposed an acceptable peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine, meanwhile most everybody else seems to me are warmongers who are not interested in the Russia Ukraine conflict getting peacefully settled quickly

You didn't propose a peace settlement acceptable to both Russia and Ukraine.

I seriously doubt Putin is going to have Russian troops unconditionally withdrawal from Ukraine. Perhaps if Ukraine were to just simply agree with Russia's annexation of Crimea as well as officially recognizing the residents of Donetsk's and Luhansk's right to self-determination, then Russia might very well withdrawal her military from Ukraine

I seriously doubt Putin will be content with any outcome in Ukraine, but it is nonetheless up to Putin to decide to continue to walk this path of self-destruction, misery, and futile embarassment or not.

Unfortunately, calling out Putin for being a war criminal and Ukraine's refusal to make small concessions to Putin means the human carnage in Ukraine will continue to mount for quite awhile longer.

It's Putin's decision to continue this carnage. He has the option of withdrawing. If he continues, there is no telling how bad things will get for him.

Perhaps Zelensky and most everyone should realize Russia already controls Crimea and eastern Donbas, so therefore Ukraine has nothing to lose by formally recognizing this territory as being a part of Russia; just merely doing this in order to make peace between Ukraine and Russia thereby to end the human carnage in Ukraine.

I do not support any slaughter of non combatants by Putin and Russia. I favor the Russia Ukraine conflict becomes promptly resolved by diplomacy instead of getting drawn out into a protracted war

Putin do not know diplomacy....he is a former KGB agent who only know to kill if and when he can not accept his own faults.
I used to think Russia was good, I know i was wrong.

I also find it ironic for American right-wingers to mock a foreign president for having been an actor, when two of the most popular right-wing US presidents of the recent past were an actor and a reality TV host respectively.

If Putin controlled the area, then he wouldn't need to lay waste to it.

Perhaps Putin and most everyone should realize that Putin has nothing to lose by simply withdrawing from Ukraine and respecting Ukraine's sovereignty and that, if he does so, it will bring an end to the human carnage in Ukraine.

I believe Putin is finished he is not just losing the war...but he has gone mental and become crazy.
Military analysts fear a long drawn out war.Russia may eventually win.Simply they have the man/woman power and the military tech including air superiority. Theoretically to save Mother Russia younger members of the Russian military and Intel (FSB)/(GRU) could stage a coup.Unlikely.Putin will not be allowed to go.It is like the Mafia. Underlings have their tentacles wrapped firmly around Putin to see he does not do a runner.Their power and money depends upon it.

Alcoholism has long been a problem in Russia.
Apparently it's even worse for soldiers.

On the plus side, this makes them easier to kill.
Perhaps the Russian military should consider administering Naltrexone to their alcohol dependent soldiers whose alcohol induced endorphins would be blocked from binding to the opiate receptors of their brains by Naltrexone resulting in them sensing no pleasure from consuming alcohol. There were a finding of 27 double-blind studies evaluating the use of Naltrexone for the treatment of alcohol dependence that measured reductions in excessive drinking, 70 percent of the aforementioned studies demonstrated an advantage for prescribing Naltrexone over Placebo to reduce excessive alcohol consumption.

Who knows, if they were foolish enough to catch radiation sickness from Chernobyl, they just as well go blind and meet their demise by methanol poisoning,?

The Economist newspaper reports that poorly Chinese made tyres help cripple the Russian advance. This is a tribute to the sagacity of the Supreme Leader Xi Jinping. How strange normally Chinese quality is on par to moderate or good. Must have been a special batch. A toast to Xi Yinping and the People party. Please keep up the good work.
