Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Italy is against this war. Our PM has said it multiple times.
So we side with civilians. With the victims of this war. On both sides.
Russian deserters, Ukrainian refugees...are all welcome.
That is not supporting either side.
The Government is not sending its army to help Soros' young friend.
Yet you still claimed that Italians love Putin.
So being against the war strongly suggests
being against it in a way different from others,
ie, Italy is against Ukraine's self defense.
My people are smart and farsighted. They have figured out this war is just a pretext to dethrone Putin...the enemy number one of the Sorosian machine.
Because if they wanted peace, Biden and Soros' protégé would sit around the negotiation table.

When Putin invades countries,
they should peacefully surrender.
There are 2 big problems with this....
1) The countries suffer Russian oppression.
2) It encourages Putin to invade more countries.
It's similar to what happened before WW2.
Italy sought peace with Hitler by allowing &
even assisting his invading other countries.
This enabled him to kill millions. Then it
necessitated defeating Italy too.

The other way around. Britain dumped Italy just like that in 1936 and she went to Berlin as retaliation.
No matter how you slice it,
Italy sided with Hitler.
And now it chooses Putin.

Methinks the forum will take issue with the comments about Russians.The average Russian on the street does not care.He/she wants a little flat house and husband /wife period.The Russians are actually very civilised pleasant people.However the people in power are thugs.If anyone of the bunch of thugs wants to time out .They get eliminated.The wall came down when the East saw the prosperity and nice BMW'S of the West.This as their battered Trabant's chugged down the road.The wall is coming back up as in the 60's in Russia.
Many here have opposed my characterizations of
Russians. But currently, their culture is one of violence
& conquest. Sure, sure, not all feel that way. But the
country is what it does.
In 2022 war is a concept that belongs to the past. I will not speak of the past...because I will have to highlight that the Americans won WW2 with the Russians. So Americans and Russians should be allies. Not enemies.
It could happen if Putin stopped invading its neighbors.

Well, Hitler wasn't one of the brightest - a bit like Putin, in making bad decisions and not listening to those better informed - and I haven't anything against the Russian people in general, and wish they could get a better deal out of life. But people who will submit to authoritarian rule perhaps because of some advantage - as they have done after Putin took over and who more or less wiped out democracy - need to be better informed as to where freedoms and choice come from - unless of course they just don't want either and have delusions of grandeur as to their position in existence.
Consider the very small school-boy, being brutally bullied by someone who out-weighs him by over 100 pounds. Do you really think, because he can't defend himself against such terrible odds, who "deserves" to be defended? Or should everybody stand by and watch him get pounded into the dirt?

Russia has been a kleptocratic oligarchy for many years, while China is essentially a capitalist state with nominally "communist" policies in terms of having only one ruling party. I'm sure you're aware that it has some of the world's biggest private businesses and many billionaires.
I hope your fierce opposition to the Russian invasion and its allies is based on its brutality, aggression, and violation of another country's sovereignty, not on the supposition that the invasion and its allies are a "commie cabal." After all, it was a capitalist cabal that invaded and committed war crimes in "communist" Vietnam a few decades ago.
