Russian Disinformation About Ballot Destruction in Bucks County, PA

You think there was a moratorium from your team on submitting fraudulent forms within 90 days election?
Really?
You never did say are you in favor of mandatory proof of citizenship in order to vote ?
Once again, there is no evidence of people filing fraudulent forms. And even worse there is no evidence of aliens voting. There are times that you should ask yourself "Does that claim make any sense at all?". In this case it clearly does not.

Trump lost. He lied about it in many different ways, Now some states are taking away the rights of legal voters in an overreaction to those lies.

I would say that is your claim. And worse yet if you had been following this thread it has been refuted. You may be conflating having to prove that one is a citizen with every election to proving that you are a citizen when you register.

First off..... one has to sign a paper where one swears under penalty of perjury, which is a felony, that one is a citizen and can legally vote. If a prospective alien breaks this law it not only makes it highly likely that they will be convicted and be sent to prison it also would end any hopes of becoming a citizen.
The honor system , yeah that works perfect especially considering we are talking about people who broke federal law to get here.
. Historically aliens voting in the US has never been a problem. It is just not worth it to an alien. One is far more likely to take a legal voter off of the roles than to prevent someone from voting.
"Historically" this country has never been overrun by 15 million unvetted illegals in less than 4 years.
So do you think taking the honor system out of it the entire process and having a document proof of citizenship requirement would be a good thing?
Not a tough question , yet you still haven't said yes or no ?

It does work. Your side cannot show that it has failed.

I see your problem. You have been listening to liars and idiots on the far right. That number cannot be supported. The total number of illegal immigrants in the US is estimated to be a bit over ten million. That includes those from Trump's term and before that:

If you want to take away the right to vote for many people the burden of proof is upon you to show that there are at least more illegal voters than legal ones that would be affected.

So do you think having a nationally standard document proof of citizenship requirement would be a good thing?
Not a tough question , yet you still can't seem to say?
There does not appear to be a need for one. You need to demonstrate a need for that. And you can't. You only have bogus claims that came from racists.

It doesn't work among MAGAs, given the criminal candidate at the top.

How did you come up with that number?

It's up to states to determine their laws and requiremnets. If you don't like what any state law says, they write them a letter. As it is you aren't showing any rampant fraud.

Do you acknowledge that Biden won the 2020 election?

I've got a passport, but no need for everybody to carry one unless you are in some sort of dictatorship, Social Security number is adequate for states to refer back to their database to see what your status is. That is all you really need to register, and from then on, your signature is your ID.
That states don't always check when people become citizens and so have old statuses in voter reg files is not the voters problem.

Could you have gotten a passport by giving a social security number ?
No, I had to have a birth certificate for that, and SS number and several hundred dollars and other evidence and several weeks for investigation even for their expedited service. Not really worth doing if you are not going anywhere, get the DL attachment, don't know what extra is needed, but state is still faster than federal, only good for Mexico and Canada travel though I think. Don't remember original SS ap, may have been birth cert, probably, but might have been parents affidavit.

Then wouldn't it be a lot easier to just give a SS number the passport agency can check on their data base ?
Why not do it that way.

The SS database with State ID access is relatively new I think., SS# used to be for employment only, now it seems to be your US ID number. Passport is a different agency for worldwide ID.
Anyhow, bottom line is with proof of Residence Address and SS ID you can register to vote, once you have done that, all you really need is your signature which is matched to your registered signature. there really is no good reason to require any more ID at polling places and it is all that was used in the past. ID cards are actually rather easy to forge and then you could put any signature on them you want, but if your signature is on file, try forging someone else's signature, it isn't easy and to make any real difference, you would have to do a lot of them. voter roll integrity is not a problem and never has been.
