That's because the photos themselves were not meant to be intentionally harmful to him or his campaign.
It is a show that they have more kompromat on him, and aren't afraid to let him know that they have him under their thumb.

Meh, the real country that has blackmail on US politicians is Israel, and Trump a huge shill for the Israelis. I see little evidence for these claims of Russian influence but the Israeli/Zionist influence is right in our faces all the time. The Russian government certainly does not have the equivalent of AIPAC, the most powerful lobbyist group for a foreign country there is. Miriam Adelson (Israel-born billionaire) alone gave Trump $100 million. The Israelis spied on Trump and also spied on Boris Johnson. Epstein and Maxwell were said to have ties to Mossad, especially Maxwell's father, and that he was running a blackmail operation of powerful people.
Now, what would be interesting to see is if Trump gets into a war with Iran on Israel's bidding, because Russia is an ally of Iran.
