The real question here is not so much whether China will take notice of the annexation, which is of course illegal following an obviously sham "referendum," but whether China will take note of how the west (basically, NATO) will respond -- or not.
Because that response will inform China's next decisions about its designs on Taiwan.
If the west lets Putin get away with this latest, then I suspect that China will assume it no longer has any real reason to worry about an armed takeover.
