Salat

i was traveling from new york to tennesee on a greyhound bus, wandering and all, but i met a really cool nation of islam guy.

he didnt push his beleifs on me at all, plus on that note this body has white skin, lol idk if white people can even be in the nation of islam. but he was a kind man, and he taught me Salat practice.

salat practice is good in any faith, but its cool, five times a day i stop everything and remember my true identity as everything. i am infinite, i am my self... then i recite gayatri mantra taught by the bramin priests and bow 3 to 5 times.

the times are 5am(or first rise) 1pm 5pm 8pm & 9pm... but lately ive been only doing four a day and counting the last two as just one whole evening devotion.

what do you guys think about this practice, from my mind experience it seems to really ground your whole day...

i suppose i should specify, is there any islamic people with tips or something else to add, or any non-muslims who have adopted a salat practice
