He never committed a sin. I see you claim to be a Christian? If so then you would know why he died.
Not according to the Jews of his day.

He died because he was crucified. he was crucified because he was an insurrectionist. He allowed himself to be turned over to the authorities because he stood behind his principles. I am a Christian, but not a supporter of Substitutionary Atonement.

The Sabbath was for rest! Please read the last two verses again.
And Jesus broke that commandment by "not-resting" which is ... working. According to the Jews of the day, Jesus sinned. So he was not a "perfect Jew."

The Jews led by the Phrases. There was much added to the law in those days.

Lord of the Sabbath
1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. 2When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.”
3He answered, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? 4He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread—which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests. 5Or haven’t you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent? 6I tell you that onea greater than the temple is here. 7If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’b you would not have condemned the innocent. 8For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

Again and again Jesus tells us He does not demand legalism, but loving God and each other. In the same way, Jesus does not refuse consecration to any love just because of an ancient legal technicality. He calls us to love and to consecrate love. He desires mercy, not sacrifice, and love, not hypocrisy. Your interpretation is wrong, and inflicts suffering on other Christians.

I don't think the Jews would agree with you there.

He did not sin therefore he was the perfect sacrifice.

The Jews are ****** because he did not come with a sword of death, he came with the sword of life. Don't worry guys he will be back to fulfill the OT prophecy on that one as well as revelation's.

Well their idea of the Messiah was someone who was going to save them from their captivity not someone that said he was the son of God. That, in the Jewish eyes, was blasphamy. Their Messiah was a savior of this world, not the next.
