Sanders Leads Clintion In National Poll

Poor little Sunstone, must be a Hillary fan. Can't bear to see that the Hillary has slid so far in the national polls. :D
The point is, Fox polls have a history of creating false hopes and major upsets when you only take in their numbers and the numbers of those who echo the Fox numbers. But such polls in general really aren't accurate, because history proves Dewey did not beat Truman.

It's within the margin of error so you don't really know it's a lead, but it's very close and that's still good news nonetheless.
He'll need an even larger lead to overcome her being the anointed one within the DNC.

Are Fox polls any less reliable than others, who also have less than perfect predictive value?

I'm sure if Fox reported that Bernie won the 2016 election before anyone else, those that despise Fox would still have conniption fits.:)

Given by the way they called 2012, they definitely need to work on their methodology. But I suspect there research participant pool may not be an actual random sample, but probably more representative of those visiting their website, with their phone numbers and emails in their databases, and so on.

If there was reason to call foul, such as the case in Florida in 2000, where it turns out that Al Gore was the rightful winner and successor of Bill Clinton once the debacle of sorted out.

It does make me wonder where the "Obama didn't win the popular vote" nonsense that came out of 2012 started at, because that clearly wasn't the case but I heard people complaining about it.

He didn't win the popular white vote I guess, Romney getting 60% of it, but you're right Obama did win the actual popular vote.

He's also catching up to her in Nevada. Last poll I saw they were a point apart. She had a twenty point lead a while back but now he's catching up to her. It's really something to watch.

Well, Fox did a marvelous job with predicting the outcome in 2012, didn't they. :D Remember Rove's rave?

I'm not a Conservative, Esmith: I try not to be even more stupid than I already am. Thus, I'm skeptical of the FOX poll because FOX polls have a history of not always being reliable -- not because I'm a Hillary supporter. In fact, your assumption that I'm a Hillary supporter happens to also be unnecessarily Conservative stupid. I'm a staunch Sanders supporter.

The poll predictions might be uncomfortable for some, & the source might elicit a Pavlovian objection, but it looks cromulent enuf.
(Note that both a Dem & a Pub pollster were involved, which would tend to limit mischief.)
As with all polls, they have limited value in predicting the outcome.

Bernie Sanders now tops Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic nomination.

The latest Fox News national poll finds 47 percent of Democratic primary voters now back the Vermont senator, up from 37 percent in January. Clinton gets 44 percent, down from 49 percent a month ago.

This is the first time Sanders has been ahead of Clinton, who not long ago was regularly described as the “presumptive Democratic nominee.”

Clinton led Sanders in the Fox poll by as many as 46 points last summer, and had a 22-point lead as recently as two months ago.

“One thing that is clear from our poll -- and others -- is that Clinton has been losing support and Sanders has been gaining,” says Democratic pollster Chris Anderson. “And this process appears to have accelerated since the contests in Iowa and New Hampshire.”

The timing of Sanders’ surge doesn’t surprise Republican pollster Daron Shaw: “Historically, lesser-known candidates beating establishment candidates in early contests have seen the biggest boost in their national support.” Shaw and Anderson jointly conduct the Fox News Poll.

Fox news polls aren't reliable. Neither are WSJ polls. Same owner, same manipulation.

FOX News has a history of being off to a large degree at times. WSJ polls don't have such a history, so far as I know. At least not yet.

Although I wonder like you whether that can long continue, given the same owner for both media, and given his track record with the truth.

I'm sure your understanding of your political opponents isn't much better than you stated.
