Satan has religions?

Another interesting concept I've encountered with Christians I think worth discussing. Many I've spoken to say "Satan has religions". Apparently, Satan isn't happy merely defying god, but also wants to imitate god by formulating his own religions.

Those who bring this idea forth claim that Satan and his demons create religions in which they play gods and give their followers half truths about goodness and salvation, but never the entire that they claim Christianity offers.

What do you think of this idea?

In a broader sense, Satan's effort is to disqualify people from entitling the protection of the Second Covenant.

Satan's general tactics is to tempt you to sin, then to accuse you of sinning (breaking God's Law). he's trying to use God's Law to be against God. he's trying to win God by getting as many souls as possible.

Jesus' coming is to terminate his this tactics. Because the self-sacrifice of Jesus can make Christians above Law in accordance to the Second Covenant. Once people are above Law, Satan can no longer accuse people of sinning.

Now Satan's trying to fight back by making people unqualified for the New Covenant in many ways. To make use of false religions is just one of these many ways.

I think it's a convinient way to dismiss other religions, beliefs or ideas without having to actually demonstrate anything wrong with them.

Satans goal is ultimately to prevent people from worshiping the Almighty...the religions of the world act as smoke screens enabling that to happen. People are worshiping all sorts of gods, but not the one and only true God, the creator of heaven and earth.

God is One, Supreme, and has no equal or rival! There is thus no "devil" out there competing with Him.

And "satan" merely refers to our own lower (animal) nature when we give it control instead of our higher (spiritual) nature.

This has been one of the many ways that rival religions are dealt with for millenia! This is one way they attempt to eliminate competition.

I've heard christians and muslims use this idea as an explanation for religious diversity. Personnaly I don't think it's worth the small amount of energy that it took to think of it.
