Save Nightcrawler!

I really hope this isn't in violation of any our rules, so I'll be sure to re-aquaint myself with them before I post it... *crosses fingers* Okay, it's not a link to a commercial site, so I hope it's okay. If not, I'll happily delete it!

I know some people here are X-Men fans, and some of those are Nightcrawler fans as well! Well, us Kurt-lovers are facing a massive blow! (Let me see if I can start this off overly- dramatic and work my way to an even worse state. It may involve the repeated use of exclamation marks...)

Marvel has announced that it is cancelling the Nightcrawler solo comic. This is a very well drawn and incredibly well- written series that just happens to feature my favorite mutant. Apparently, petitions have worked in the past to save Marvel comics from sheer and utter doom! I'd love it if you would be willing to teleport yourself over here (not my site, but it seems to have the simplest petition) and give 'em a heads- up as to what a wretched blow to humanity and the arts that doing so would be.

*grovels shamelessly* If not for Nightcrawler, then for me?

I think he'd get along nicely with Batman... *pictures this* Although while Batman is doing his sitting-among the gargoyles routine, it might be alarming to have him try to lean on one that turns out to've been Kurt trying to take a nap.

Yes, I enjoyed the latest Batman movie, though it did get a little silly at the end.

I quite enjoyed the last Batman movie, too. My sister is a huge fan of Christian Bale. I'm a fan of the character Alfred. It worked out nicely!

True, Kreeden. (Or at least Alan Cummings won't be.) I just hope that it's a situation where you can picture him having just stepped off- screen, maybe to make a sandwich or something...

When I posted asking for permission to link to it, the people were very kind, but suggested that I refer to it as a form, since that's what gets automatically generated when you use it. They also gave me some HTML for a banner, but I'm pretty horrible at those...

I just started to notice the 20-30 year curve hit a lot of my collection(as far as value.) But I didnt read many books, I bought them to keep. I love the art.
I hope people realize that comic collectors are at an alltime low as far as the amount of collectorsopulation ratio. It wont become a forgotten art, but I do wish more people see the enjoyment of reading the most imaginative periodicals in the world. It really does make life interesting to picture yourself able to jump 3 miles at a time, and have healing powers beyond any medical science. It's allways great to dream Nightcrawler is drawn and written well right now. Even if they cancel the series, he will be back over and over again. But I agree that its pretty dumb to drop a line when the concept is hitting on all cylanders, its marvel that is failing to market it.
