Muffled
Jesus in me
This is not rocket science. It doesn't take volumes of theology. God calls us to obey. "To obey is better than sacrifice." It IS possible to keep all the commandments.
Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it. Deuteronomy 30:11-14However, there is a part two. Although God has outlined consequences and warned Israel continually, he is not a God that wants to punish, but to forgive, if we but repent of our sin and turn back to his ways. "Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth the iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy." Micah 7:18
I believe to enter the Kingdom of God one must not have any sin at all. There is no-one capable of doing that. The only way a person is entirely cleansed of his sin is by the blood of Jesus and that comes symbolically by communion.
