Three Frenchmen were standing in a bar having a drink together; one had just told a story in which he used the expression 'savoir-faire'.

Ah, said one of his friends," 'savoir faire' - such a beautiful concept! I would define it by the example of a man who goes home, finds his wife in bed with another man, tips his hat, says 'Bonjour' and then leaves the room".

Oh no said the second man; " 'savoir-faire' - I would define it as a man who goes home, finds his wife in bed with another man, tips his hat, says 'Bonjour, please continue' and then leaves the room.

The third guy thinks for a bit and says, oh no, "You're both wrong; 'savoir-faire' is when a man goes home, finds his wife in bed with another man, tips his hat, says 'Bonjour, please continue' - and then if they do, well, I reckon that is 'savoir-faire'":jiggy:
