Ave Satanas!
No kidding. Atheist teachers like to squash the hopes and dreams of little Christians.
You've got to live for something, don't you? And what better to live for than to squash the hopes and dreams of little Christians. :areyoucra

You can't be that ignorant..
Any reputable teacher worth his salt knows not to bring religion into his classroom.
At least you confess that atheism is a religion.
By the way. I was not implying that any teacher is or is not reputable or worth his salt. But we could of course debate whether or not all teachers are as you say, "worth his salt".
Reread what I said. Stop reading words where there are none.
No. I actually felt like I was debating someone who studied literature from Focus on the Family and Answers in Genesis. She also kept changing the subject alot, which made it disappointing because I couldn't get a good debate out of her.Of course she was caught like a deer in the headlights. She didn't know her scripture. She should have told you that God is eternal, and therefore has no cause. But you got her good, didn't you?
You must feel so proud.

Regardless of whether or not it's a true story, it's still disturbing that people actually liked this story.
It still says alot about those mean atheist teachers who crush the dreams of Christians, when the only intolerant one I have had in my own experience had similar concerns about how society is out to get her.Okay, so she was jabbing and dodging. Good for her.

The point is we can. People of many views tolerate and accept many people of many different views. Especially at the university level, most people either really don't care or are too scared of offending someone. You're right, we can't coexist. And I'm okay with that.
I love George Carlin. I've seen all of his specials and read all of his books. He was really more of a comedian/social commentator/philosopher.I find blonde jokes disturbing, I hated Andrew Dice Clay and George Carlin yets millions probably still like their jokes on Facebook.
This joke is far milder than theirs.

But there is always that one exception who was scared the world was out to get her who also showed quite abit of intolerance herself. But, that's life in general. However, it's a far cry from people trying to crush the hopes and dreams of little Christians. You can't even smash a watermelon after a football game without it being called racist because people are literally too scared of anything that is potentially offensive.
What's so hard about respecting others? You have to show it to get it back in return. I also never said we all have to keep our mouths shut, but standing in front of a class room, being a teacher and all, isn't the place or time to be going on about the immorality of homosexuality, especially when it's not even a part of the subject. But it's only been a problem with that one person. Everybody else more or less peacefully coexists, even if it is just because it's some scared white guilt ridden Liberal. So you are saying that we can tolerate one another if we all keep our mouths shut. Sorry, that isn't gonna happen.
