A lot of people liked it. I am sort of disturbed by this. Does anyone here actually think this is a good message? Does it bother you as much as it bothers me that this had over a thousand likes?

I understand your point.
And yes the little girl is only being taught one limited perspective which could cause her some problems later in life.

I don't take those things so seriously however.
My first reaction was to laugh.
I would imagine that the teacher was offended long before they got to the heaven and hell part.
If the teacher was offended by a little girls perspective on life then maybe she should examine her own.

The problem is, people really do think, belive and act like that. More importantly the vote that way and try to force their views into school, science, politics and every ones personal life.

As I mentioned previously, it is perfectly fine to declare your beliefs as opinions. But if you declare them as facts then I expect more than hearsay to prove the argument.

Fair enough? Would you agree with that? Yes? No?

Why? Why not?

You're right, I believe when you make any statement of fact, it should be backed with evidence. I believe, if it is mere belief or opinion, the one making the statement ought to make it known that it is merely a belief or an opinion, however strongly it is felt. I believe I am certain that you will abide by the same rules. I believe I will do my best to do the same.

How's that?

I like George Burns read all his books have his TV show on CD and seen all his movies. Yet I understand your likes and do not find it disturbing hopefully I'm not disturbing to you.:D

I like George Carlin, George Burns, and George Harrison. On the first ever episode of Saturday Night Live (1975), George Carlin was describing the differences between baseball and football. It was a riot.

Poor analogy. It dosent even come close. No one disputes ebola. You have a lot of work to do.

I don't think you heard me. I said I no longer believe in ebola. That means I dispute it. It doesn't exist. I have never seen anyone who had it. And I see no reason to believe anyone has had it.

How do you feel about George Clooney, George Lopez, George Takei? How about George Washington, or Curious George?

The actually debate in this wasn't even about religion. The teacher didn't write off heaven but instead asked 'what if he went to hell'. And I don't think a teacher informing a child that a whales throat is to small to swallow a human is a bad thing.

Was it the little girl then who bothered you?

Though I don't actually take this seriously, it's obviously a joke, though not a very funny one to me personally.

The teacher was antagonizing the little girl, and got what she deserved.
