Scenes that scarred you for life

I think we've all experienced this at some point in our lives. You're about 7 years old, watching a nice family friendly film. Suddenly something pops up that should never have been in a kids film. You freak out, you have nightmares for months and even now you feel a strange childish dread whenever the film is mentioned.
I'm not talking about accidentally watching a true horror film as a kid, I'm talking about those scenes hidden in family films which were obviously designed to put kids through therapy.

Now's your chance to open up and share your experiences.

I'll begin:

The Wheelers in Return to Oz. I can picture the conversation between the writers now.
Sociopath 1 - "Hey, so we're making another Oz film. Are we going for another small dog and cuddly lion?"
Sociopath 2 - "Actually Sociopath 1, I thought we should include something straight from Dali's nightmares."
Sociopath 1 - "Good idea! let's make mannequins from Hell."
Sociopath 2 - "My thoughts exactly, but let's also give them weirdly proportioned limbs and staring oni masks."
Sociopath 1 - "Perfect! Kids love body distortion. You know what kids also love? Maniacal clown laughs."
Sociopath 2 - "We have such good ideas."

I don't think any family film scenes had much of an impact on me.

Some actual horror scenes did stick with me in a negative way, though.
