Science has given us this and God has given us what?

"Some good"!!!! It's done a lot of good, much of it reflected in the continuing increase in life expectancy.

Not saying the entire increase in life expectancy over the years is due to science, but in large part it is.

The bad is about outweighing the good. They are ruining Gods earth and God promised to bring those to ruin. This is closer than you think.
Oh yes--- so in the end--the doctors or nursing homes take everything one worked for their whole lives. All is vanity said Solomon except the seeking of God.

A poetic account of an idealized (fictional) character. So what?

You've got things backwards. Human life expectancy has increased over time, not decreased. The ages given in the Biblical genealogies are not credible, obviously.

Don't hold your breath.

Poetry or not....Man has taken a divergence from the rest of the animal kingdom.
Genesis is an account written long before anyone could explain the details.
But today's science has no contradiction.

The average life span was indeed short....about 40 to 50 years....
right up to the discovery of the microscope and chemistry as we know now it.
I've a report that world wide life can be as much as 80 years.

Brief compared to the time that follows death.

Holding my breath?......no....
Practicing martial art and playing with weapons.....yeah.

Just for fun.

Its a known fact that it was religion that kept us in the dark ages, science helped to bring us out of the dark ages.

Ok, how come the muslims after Prophet Muhammad was sent to them were the most advanced civilization?
they invented so much.

Also there are so many scientific miracles in the quran.
''And we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?"

“We made the sky a preserved and protected roof yet still they turn away from Our Signs"

I know science helped us. But the quran helped science

I don't know about that, if its true or not, you can make any claim from scripture to make it look as if its true that these things were spoken about, again science thinking helped us to come out of the dark-ages, but what put Muslims back to the dark-ages?.

Let's not over look ...Genesis Chapter Two.

It has all the earmarks of a science experiment.

Well it is true and it's quite clear.
When did the Muslims go back to the dark ages?

If they stop believing in God and obeying him then they would.

How do you know they were the most advanced civilization, outside of the Qu'ran which isn't considered a reliable source for everyone. What have they invented?

I think he means that during the time of the Caliphate, there was an Islamic Golden Age, (maybe Arab Golden Age?) where Arabs were one of the most advanced civilizations of the era and made a number of important contributions to society.
