Science is a false God

Just like the greatest most eminent thinkers of their day knew Alchemy, Neptunism, the geocentric universe, Spontaneous Generation, Lamarckism, Emication, the existence of the planet Vulcan, Lysenkoism, Gradualism, Trepanation, Miasma theory of disease, Telegony, the expanding earth, the existence of Phlogiston, martian canals, Luminiferous Aether, the Steady State Theory, Cold Fusion, Hollow Earth Theory and Phrenology were all absolutely true, right?

Except that *none* of these were theoreies that made specific, testable predictions in as many different fields as QM and got all the predictions correct. Phlogiston was the only one that even came close, but it quickly became difficult to reconcile with observations. Quantum mechanics, on the other hand, is central to our understanding of phenomena as varied as subatomic particles, solid state theory, the emission of spectra, etc. To place it in proximity to these pseudo scientific ideas is both laughable and enough to show you understand bvery little of how science (as opposed to politics) is done. Creation 'science' belongs in your list, not quantum theory or general relativity.

The Bible has over 750,000 words and still too many don't read it but you want God to add another few million more explaining in excruciating detail precisely how he formed all of reality, which you probably wouldn't even begin to understand? Seriously?

No. I don't. I want God, if such a creature exists, to provide evidence that is far superior to the ramblings of a few Bronze Age propagandists.

Which is certainly meaningful since, thankfully, we have an absolutely complete and meticulous historical and archaeological record for every single event in every single ancient culture that has ever existed . . . oh . . . wait . . .

One doesn't have to know everything to be able to discard nonsense.

And just what demonstrable, quantifiable, empirical, falsifiable, testable, replicable evidence do you have demonstrating how causality works in other universes?

I don't/ But I have enough to show it fails in *this* universe, which is enough to destroy the 'first cause' argument. Like I said, it also has other severe problems.

I think perhaps you misunderstand. We know QM is non-causal because it is a man-made model and so we know how it is constructed and what that implies.

Nobody, however, is saying we know the model is definitively right or complete. That would be a quite different claim. A scientifically literate person would not make such a claim, since no theory in science can be proved true.

What is being said is that we can model the world on the basis of theories that are non-causal and they work. So there is no reason, from the point of view of science, to invoke further causes, at this point. Some people may want to do so for aesthetic reasons, but that is another matter.

Also, because of the observed violations of Bell's inequalities, any deterministic system also has to have some *very* strange properties, including non-locality. That is problematic because it violates Lorentz invariance and thereby relativity, which is another incredibly well-tested set of ideas.

/E: This is why Bohmian mechanics has never been able to deal with anti-matter, which is essentially a relativistic phenomenon.

You're not suggesting that, for instance, the genocide of Triads, Nordicists, Zetas, Baasskaps, MS-13s, Jihadists, Mungikis, Bloods, Yakuzas, Bratvas, Nazis and other such evil peoples would be morally wrong, are you?
I say the genocide of members of the above-listed groups would be wrong.
The Laws of the United States of America say the genocide of members of the above-listed groups would be wrong.
International law says the genocide of members of the above-listed groups would be wrong.

Do you have any conclusive evidence for your claims or is this all in your imagination?

As opposed to your imagination of evidence for your deity?

Don't expect *conclusive* evidence in the real world. But is it at least as good as my evidence that no invisible unicorns exist in my office? yes.

And they weren't helpless little children. They were evil.

Jehovah God has only ever executed the evil, never an innocent.
Hosea 13:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Damn those evil fetuses and their sin and wickedness! Anti-abortionists are against Yahweh!
