Sure we did. Just last week we talked about it and I asked you if we needed to continue.
It must not have been much of a discussion, since I do not remember it. All I remember is you mentioned something about a Deep Purple song. Where was this extensive discussion taking place?

? Identifying the enemy is not whining it is preparing for spiritual and intellectual battle.

What battle? Creationists remind me of the black knight in the Holy Grail movie from Monty Python.

Alas, i see praying as only chance for you. That should work, right? :)

If you claim models of the past are not belief based then simply prove it.
Same to you. Let's see your proof that things in the past were different.

-Prove that a same nature and laws existed on earth in the past?
Prove that they were different.

Things adapt and evolve...yes.

Things evolving are what 'created' life on earth...no.
Cool strawman. All this time on these forums and you still do not undertstand the basics of that which you automatically reject with silly nonsense.

Consider this, just fore a moment - if you believe something that requires the suspension of all known physical reality, then maybe what you believe is nonsense....?

If you think that nuclear decay and time and geology and biology all had to have been "different" in the past in order for your crazy biblical literalism to have merit, then maybe - just maybe - what you believe is a fantasy?

Some random person that I never seek out comes along and tells me he does not like me. That is not calling me out.

It was very good. Better than anything you could come up with.

You seem like you are trying to goad me into an argument. You remind me of somebody. I can't think who it is right now, but he had a lot of issues.

That guy is a Troll Wannabe. Seriously-- I have run into his <expletive> before. He trolls everyone, pretty much the same. I'm thinking, he's starved for attention? Dunno. Best put on ignore.

Sooner or later he is left with one answer: Magic. I guess that can work, though it is rather silly. But he still has the insurmountable problem in that he is calling God a liar. If one believes in that God for salvation how can one trust that he will keep his promises.

Darkmatter2525 has an excellent video on that:

In answer to any one of 100's of Ark Failures? Magic.

Of course, that's begging the question: If Magic was used?

Why on Earth didn't god simply Magic Away all the Bad People?

*poof* No kittens, puppies or butterflies would have been harmed.

Only the Hypocrites, Liars and Exploiters of Children.

Let me see if I can rustle up that vid...

Found it! It has all my arguments and several more.

Alas: NSFW-- language.

"Good" wasn't my objective.
Just something which merely sounded good, but was actually gibberish or terrible.
Perhaps I failed at failing, eh?

I guess it all depends on what IS is. Right? ;)

I was asked, once, if it were discovered that Billy-boy Clinton had indeed, done Unspeakable Things-- and it was proven.

My response? Put that sucker in jail.

The Republican in question? Suddenly goes silent.... Not Putting people in Jail seems to be their #1 Strategy-- so long as the word "people" means "Their Sort Of People-- and Only Their Sort Of People"-- everyone else? Gets 20-to-Life-- guilty or innocent doesn't matter, really, if you are the Wrong Sort Of 'People'

That seems an odd response to my quoting fake
scripture as "The Pope" on a long defunct forum.

I thought you would have recognized the infamous Billy-boy Clinton's dubious defense line, and considered that funny.

So sorry-- I do think his entire "defense" was funny, in a sad, man-child sort of way.

As for the long-dead forum? I am unfamiliar with that, so obviously the inside joke flew right over my head.

As is becoming more often as I age out, and my memory goes bad.

I did recognize the controversy over the meaning of "is".

That is my take. A troll of no consequence, starved for attention with some other issues that are not my business to deal with.

He is on ignore.

Too bad. So sad.

Perhaps you made it sound too good by making it too obscure.
The trick....
Pretend authority.
Say something complex & inscrutable, but still potentially cromulent sounding.

Others won't want to admit not understanding.
So they'll pretend to understand so as to save face.
This works not just in religion, but also particularly well
in social sciences & 9/11 truther conspiracy arguments.

That works in a lot of situations. I know of some industrial hygiene and safety guys that were hired as loss prevention consultants by a major retailer. They were to find holes in store security so that the retailer could plug them and reduce loss due to theft. One way the IH/S guys went about it was to dress in uniforms and carry clipboards. They were able to walk into and out of stores unchallenged and accumulate a truckload of major appliances, all because they looked like they had authority and people were afraid to question them.

I've also heard....
"A man with a bucket can go anywhere."

If challenged, just say....
"Do you want to clean up that mighty puddle of puke?"
Resistance is futile!
