Seeing dead loved ones? Fact or Fiction

Many different religions have different views regarding the afterlife etc. I watched a fictional film today about a man who prayed for one last time with his late wife after suffering a stroke - to the surprise of him and his two daughters, the next day - their mother who had been dead for years came and spent christmas for them. Now obvioulsy this is a bit of an exageration. But my questions are as follows?

1) Have you ever seen a relative/friend/person you know who has passed on?
2) Do you believe that it is possible to see relatives/friends/people you know after they have passed on?

What are your thoughts on this.

Edit: I should prob state it doesnt have to be "see" it could be hear, speak to in a dream, any sort of communication that you felt to be real!

After my grandmother died.....for my grandfather's birthday, which was a couple months after, my grandfather heard her call his name three times on his birthday but he didn't answer. I have heard that spirits can call three times but we shouldn't answer...I don't know why.

I have also heard that when there is a death in a household, sometimes the spirit of the deceased can be seen in a mirror. Some people in my country cover the mirrors in their homes when there is a death in their household.

So yeah, I have seen and heard dead people.

2) My wife in a Dream... I was in a great pester about something , she told me to quieten down and that it was OK.
It was so real I had to sit up and put on the light.

I used to say that to her if she woke in the night in a sweat.

2) Besides obviously all the dead in Christ meeting in the clouds with the Christians on the earth at the rapture I don't know. But I wouldn't recommend that anyone actively try to call back spirits because they will be evil spirits impersonating lost relatives.

as the last poster said , people who think they are seeing dead loved one , are actually being mislead by demons , that is not to say that sometimes people are just mislead by misleading and untruthful spirit mediums . but also the demons do work through spirit mediums and the demons can say things that only the dead loved ones would know about , the demons have been around for many years and they mislead people into thinking that people are not really dead . and it all goes back to the first ever lie in the bible ,when satan said to eve that she would not die if she eat the fruit and the lies go on. but that is not to say that we will never see our dead loved ones again , because at a future time people will be resurrected back to a paradise earth . and that is the bible promise to look foreward too. so do not be misled by the demons .

I see and speak with my dead parents in dreams sometimes.
I don't believe it was any sort of interaction with literal "spirits" or "souls" of the dead though. Just thoughts and memories coming out subconsciously in a dream.

I do not believe in Demons.
Not that God could not create them.. But why would he?
If they were independent immortals would they not too be Gods?
Demons evil spirits and Jins are with out any reality, they are a carry over from primitive belief systems.

Although I have never seen a dead person, I have heard my name called when I was alone.
I believe in the resurrection.

I can't say what happens in every individual case, but I'm just suggesting that people don't try to call up spirits because it might not always be what you expect.

satan is an angel of light , he has been around along time ,and he knows all about what to say to make you think that it is your dead loved ones ,yes he is the great deciever
