I feel like I'm days away from getting a Wii U and looking for any advice someone might have for what I may wish to purchase, use with it, and do with it.
I realize I'm behind the times, but this is normal for me. I don't usually get a game console the first year or two it is out. I'm aware Nintendo is set to release a new console system (NX I think) later this year. I rather have Wii U than whatever that is. I imagine I'll get that in about 2 or so years - being the Nintendo fanboi that I am. So, advice like get a PS4 or Xbox isn't what I'm looking for.
I've had Wii and really enjoyed that, but optical drive broke and so it's been more than a year that I've had game console. Yet, I'm thinking I can use the Wii Remote Plus with the Wii U, along with the game pad that comes with Wii U. But am open to getting the Wii Pro Controller if anyone reading this think that is a must have from the get go.
Also any game suggestions are welcome. On Wii, Sports Resort was my favorite, and I'm not one to own more than a few games at a time, also not really into first person shooter type games or the role playing ones. With Wii, I never downloaded a game, but am open to that with Wii U.
And then any recommendations for non-game things that you use or wish you used with a Wii Console is also welcomed. I did use my Wii to do Netflix streaming, so am familiar with that.
Thanks for any reading and any replies.
