Seventh-Day Baptists

Has anyone ever heard of them? What are they? Who are they?

The reason I ask is that I have an ancestor who started a church in Missouri. He started preaching in his home, then built a church for the congregation, then left because of an argument concerning the dogma of the church.

I am just curious.

I don't know that much about them, but Seventh-day Baptists observe the seventh day Sabbath and lean toward Protestant/Calvinistic doctrines. Although I think there is variation of beliefs between different individuals and groups.

I don't know anything about them. There is a church in Rhode Island but I have never been to it.
