I don't really think it is a good idea mostly because you are going to get a nonstop stream of people claiming identity X is not represented. It's better to ignore them all equally and carry on like nothing happened. (There are literally hundreds of these little categories...) There is also currently the rainbow room which might suit any specific need. ( I don't know if it is active)

I just think basically, it is an administrative and philosophical nightmare waiting to happen. :)

I voted "yes, if the details are revised". The only real issue I have is the terminology under the "gender" category. I think it would make more sense to use "man" or "masculine" and "woman" or "feminine" as identities because gender and sex aren't the same thing. *shrug*

Okay that is something we can change.

Seeing as the majority of people under the LGBTQI spectrum on this site wants something like this to happen, something like this is ging to happen.

Im just trying to let heterosexuals and male and female sexes be included.

They aren't religions, so they couldn't be DIRs, and there would have to be an actual need for them and enough people using them to justify their existence. Such as, a forum for only LBGT and allies is more justifiable than a trans-only forum because it would be collecting more dust and cobwebs than having members actively using it, and it would also help reduce bandwidth over having a separate board for each group given most of those groups have few members representing them. Men and women do have a men's issues and feminists only board.

Yeah because no transsexual would ever want to ask only transsexuals something?

Also apparently women who are not feminist cannot talk about their issues.

Do you think Lucifarians should not have a DIR because there are few of them?
I wouldn't have it. Rather, I'd consolidate the LHP boards into one (that tends to be how it's used anyways). I'd also do away with the ones that haven't been used in a few years.
Quotation please.
What should I quote? More boards require more bandwidth. More bandwidth requires more money. More boards also require more work for the staff.

See very different ideologies you and I.

I do not care about what you think the staff wants.

Do not speak for the staff, if that was a concern they would object to the board and give us that reason.

I'm not speaking for the staff, but factually about more threads meaning more bandwidth which requires more money, and that it is the stuff who must ultimately approve.
