Shinto,Hinduism,Wicca, and Taoism

I'm looking for a religion. My whole life I've never been religious and now I feel I'm ready to find my faith. The problem is I like Shinto, Hinduism, Wicca, and Taoism. So I'm really confused and overwhelmed. Can anyone just give me some basics on these religions? Anything that you can tell me about would be very much appreciated.

What are some things you think you believe right now? That might help any helpers here.

Well, I don't believe in the devil I might be believe in God's but I don't believe that a God created the world. I also wanna know why there's so much pointless suffering in the world .

I don't think any of the faiths you mentioned believe in the devil. Mine (Hinduism) certainly doesn't. We do believe God emanated the world from Himself, so essentially, it's all God. He didn't create it from from something outside of himself. So the world is like waves on the water, sort of separate in form, and shape, but still water.

We explain suffering as a natural part of God's way, so in the above analogy, it would be like when those same waves go crashing onto rocks. From that suffering, we learn lessons, and are returned to God.

Wicca forms a basis for cultivating whatever you want to believe. the other three no matter how enlightened they are tend to pigeon hole us at some level.
for example the Tao(the oneness) is Not God.
most Hindus except the one Hindu atheist i met on the forums insist Brahman(the oneness) IS God
Shinto insists on pluralism of Kami(spirits)

if you are a seeker i would highly recommend Wicca because it can accept all these views without insisting one is more right than the other.
unless of course you are totally sure and committed to one of those paradigms.

Taoism doesn't insist Tao isn't god. It's simply another thing altogether. There are Chinese Gods too.
