Short of breath?

Recently I've been kind of under the weather (nothing too bad, kind of just allergies) and I've noticed that every time I pray I'm very short of breath? Which is weird because I usually pray silently or under my breath but I feel very fatigued at times, sometimes its so bad I have to pause or stop all together.

The oddest part of this is that I can run, talk, exercise, ect. but be completely fine. Anybody else have any idea why this would be, or have similar experiences?

Bad posture, talking for long stretches without taking a breath, perhaps if you're inside some windows need opening?

I suggest testing these out by using the same physical motions you would do for prayer, but instead of saying a prayer, recite something else you know from memory, like a song or part of a movie, to see if the effect is a physical one that you can remedy.

If you aren't having issues running/exercising and it is only when praying, then it's probably bad posture or bad breathing technique/ryhthm. But as Vinayak also said, you should probably talk to your doctor as well.

Go see a doctor. Get your heart checked. Seriously.
It's nothing with my heart, I've been to multiple cardiologists.

Posture could be the problem, I mostly sit in seiza just because I find that most natural. I figured it was mainly because of allergies but was genuinely curious if anybody else had similar experiences.

Thank you for the advice though, it's been a pain. Maybe I'll just wait until this sickness blows over.

Could be stress induced. If youre thinking of all your issues while praying, could be an onset of a panic attack. But yes, see a Dr about it.
