Should all or most be replaced? (Big Energy)

Replace nuclear power with coal power?

Should all or most nuclear power plants be replaced with coal power plants? Nuclear procuresses radioactive isotopes into the sky and the risks of nuclear mealtoens and toxic radioactive waste transitioning can increase the radioactivity reach of isotopes to the ground level even if stored in a mountain.

Coal power is the only power plant structure that can produce the equivalent of a nuclear facility. We have clean coal technology, and a nearly endless amount of it in North America.

Unless there is an accident nuclear energy produces only one thing, electricity.

A study published by UCL shows that more than 8 million people around the globe die each year as a result of breathing in air containing particles from burning fossil fuels.

Deaths from nuclear power are somewhere around half a million times less than that List of nuclear and radiation accidents by death toll - Wikipedia

Nuclear power is cleaner energy. Also, if you've ever seen the hideous results of the mountaintop removal process used to extract coal, you'd be compelled to find an alternative to coal power. Visit WV sometime.

I am very aware of what is happening in West Virginia. There are other solutions to mining coal then eradicating mountains. The problem is in the water and the league of chemicals in drinking and bathing water. However after hundreds of years, those abandoned mines can for new lakes a plains for wildlife.

I'd like a 3rd option to vote for. What is this the US election system?

Nuclear is great and all. Its not what I want us to be using 200 years from now but to put things in perspective all of the nuclear waste that we have created in this country since we started using nuclear power could be stored safely in a bunker roughly the size of your average walmart. So if we ramped that up over the next hundred years we would need roughly 3 walmarts worth of space to put our nuclear waste and hopefully find a way to deal with the waste.

What are they?

Are you saying that we should ignore the displaced wildlife and pollution now in favor for new lakes and plains in hundreds of years?
