had a ps4 and sold it.. then bought an xbox one and lit it on fire and proceed to throw it off a waterfall. i bought another ps4 then returned it for an xbox one and proceeded to throw that xbox one into the wall and hack it apart with a hatchet (i have pictures if u don't believe me) what should i get next? xbox one #3, ps4#3, pc or swich.. this gen isnt as appealing for some reason as the ps2/360

It's the games. Broken unfinished pieces of crap now loaded with microtransactions, drm and and regurgitated mobile phone garbage. No variation focused on the casual run and gun bunny hopping player more interested in killstreaks than tactics, immersion, longetivity, and strategy.

Definitely go for pc. Make a good gaming rig that will pay for itself in the long run that caterers to all gaming tastes.

Not outdated hardware that you cannot upgrade without buying another hyped up console.

One should not underestimate the potential epic experiences to be had in console generations past.

Why not just toss the money that would be spent over the waterfall?
Seems it would be a lot less aggravation.

Really. :0P

It's only recently. Consoles used to be much more than what they are now. In fact I'm enjoying a renaissance with my old systems until the console industry gets its act together or disappears off the radar like in the 80s gaming crash, which is long overdue.

There's a few gems but not worth the investment overall. I think you would be much happier with pc after the initial expense, it's a matter of upgrading your hardware to fit your own tastes.

Steam is great. Thousands of genres catering to just about any type of player
and yep. Free online use as opposed to pay to play. "0)

Hi Folks..

If your imaginery games virtual reality world is obviously frustrating you and leading you to do violence - then clearly it is time to step out of that world entirely and maybe spend more time HERE in the real world instead..??..

There is obviously a problem with the activity and passtime itself which is causing you to become a little -psychotic..?...It is not normal to do the things you describe merely over a "game" no matter what platform its on - so if I were you id be stepping back and taking an honest look at Self...

yes it's always good to take LONG sessions away from gaming especially when it's lost 90% of value.. that's what im currently doing before deciding about going back

It is my opinion that console went downhill when they started accessing the internet.
Since that moment, games started being released before they were done and the internet connect is needed to download the not only the fixes, but sometime, the rest of the damn game.

I'm not a heavy duty gamer, but I would opt for a high-end pc. I have nothing against consoles, but how do you upgrade? What if the game you want to play is made by a competing console manufacturer? Most are eventually ported over to a pc platform. If you buy the components and assemble your own pc, then you have a huge array of options to choose from and a large price range to choose from.

I remember when it still had dial up. *grin*

Playing the orginal Ghost Recon online.

Lag was horrible at times but what memories I had..

the waste has been dumped.. there's nothing anyone can do at this point

Nonsense - of course there's things people can do about it. People like me go out and clean up illegally dumped trash on a volunteer basis, and organize events to do this with large groups to make it more efficient. Having done these for a number of years, I'd always rhetorically ask the question "dear gods, what sort of person would do something like this anyway?" I suppose in that respect, you've been enlightening.

My advice (for the nothing it is worth) is you shouldn't be buying any of this stuff until you learn to dispose of it in a way that isn't illegal. You'll probably huck the hazardous waste that is a PC into a river, too, the moment you are disappointed in it.
