Should I Grow My Hair Long?

Should I grow my hair long? I know you don't know how I look, so you can't really say, but, in general, which do you like better, long hair or short hair (in men).

I am 34 and you have no idea how badly I would like to grow it out again ( I used to have it very long). I just think between my little bald spot and grey hair.....I would look hilarious. You go for it....anything you want to do, just do it.

I've tried and tried to grow it long. It just gets annoying. Some people can pull it off, others can't. I say, go for it.

As in combing? Because I don't want to have my hair silky smooth. I'd prefer some roughness.

As in practically everything. Ask a woman with long hair how much time she has to spend on it. Then ask a woman with shorter hair how much time she has to spend on it. Better yet, ask the woman with shorter hair what's the main thing she likes about her hairstyle -- there's a good chance she'll tell you that one of the things she most likes about it is its low maintenance.

Try it and see if you like it.

It also depends on whether your hair is naturally curly or wavy also. If it is just straight then it will be silky smooth.

I had long hair in Jr High and High School They were always trying to get me to cut it. I wore it under my shirt and before I had an unfortunate experience, it was below my waste.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! You know what I meant Lightkeeper. It depends on the nature of the hair. Some girls can pull off thin straight hair that long, but I don't think men can. Also, calding men who have skullets, EEWWW!!!!!

I had long hair down to my backside when I lived in Texas. The upkeep is enormous. IT also got caught in car doors and my pickup truck door when they closed. And when it got hot, it was like hotter than when I had short hair. Nowadays I'm sporting the Roman look of short hair, no mustache and no beard.

In Austin, Texas, long hair is all the rage. Just like having a dual-wheeled pickup truck as your "grocery store/pedestrian mobile". Donut gno about the rest of the woild.

I spent ages getting my long hair. I am NOT sad that it is going to get all chopped off tomorrow. Its too much effort to keep it clean all the time. Plus it's annoying when playing sports or just having to continuously tuck it away from my eyes. Can't wait till I'm bald, it'll be so much easier.

Do it!!!! - just to see how it looks. It might turn out to be "hunky" and easy maintenance. Try growing it at least for a year.

Sorry! my experience has been differant.

My hair doesn't grow long, it just grows "out".
