...shave my head again? It's been over a year since I had it at a #1, and lately I've been realy wanting to shave it all off again (it's not terribly long now, the longest is an inch or less). So, what do you think? :p (I'll apologise in advance for the pic, it's the best I had of me with it shaved off).

*edit* GAH! Just so there's no confusion, my hair is not LONG at this point in time, and I will not be growing it LONG again in the foreseeable future. I have a very short back and sides, with about an inch on top. I've probably already got less hair than most of the guys on this forum. ;) Anyone who has visions of me cutting off long flowing locks, think again! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (literally - actually, I have two!).

The options presented before you are:

1. Shave it off to the length in the pic posted here.
2. Leave it as is (i.e. short)

I'm sorry if I wasn't clearer when I posted this last night, but it was late.

Bastet, let me be the first RF'er to say this morning that your hair is one of your bigger assets. It compliments your facial features really well. I think you are going to turn heads either way.....cause you are ubercute but to me shaved head= looks like you just got recruited for the military.

I don't think you should, but I don't think you're out of your mind :p If you did shave it again, would you do it about as far as in the last picture or leave about a inch or so?

Personally , I like hair .... wish I had some . ;)

But the choice is your Bastet . :) Like , at lest you have the choice . ;) But I love the feel of the wind in my hair . I once wore it well below the shoulder blades . Long hair is a pain though ...

Until I saw your picture, I thought, "Oh, please, NO! Why would any woman in her right mind want to shave her head?"

And then I saw your picture. I think you look awesome with no hair! Go for it!

Shaving every day or so is a pain; more trouble than caring for short, 2 or 3 cm hair. Is it worth it?

You actually don't look that bad with a shaved head, but no matter how good anyone looks, I think it's gross to have just a stubble on the part of a head where one should have a bit more hair.

Oh, yeah! I never stopped to think about that. What a pain that would be!

That's why I just keep my hair long :D Every once in a while I'll want it short... then when I cut it it'll aggravate me so much I won't think to try it again for another few years.

Here is a picture with Bastet with longer hair so RFers can make the comparison. If I am not mistaken, Bastet used to wear it even longer. I would say if there is a convenience or a desired preference to keeping it shorter or shaved than keep it like that.

On looks alone, grow it long, I've never really liked women with shaved heads, or even short hair. But if you keep it short 'cause it's easier to maintain then ask yourself is long hair worth the effort? Did you shave your head for looks or because you don't like having to care for it?

You're still cook regardless of your hair status. :) Hair is not important. That pic of Runt with a blue
wig in post pic thread looks cool too.

I would not want to see it shorter than the opening picture.Much shorter than that usually looks pretty holey. But it's your hair your choice.

Bastet, I'm going to be a boring man and say 'I like women with long hair'. It maybe a stupid stereotype, but I think that eyes and hair 'make' a person (more so for a woman). Sorry if that's not the answer you wanted, but I am just saying what I think.

Do what you want - and I think you want to shave it.;)

I get mine cut that short for summer because it keeps my big head cooler.

As far as looks go, and nobody tell my wife I'm flirting;), you look attractive either way, but since you asked, I'd pick letting it grow.:)

When my mom was undergoing cancer treatments, someone told her that she looked like a Buddhist nun. Well, since my mom's a lot like I am, this was about the highest praise she could get, hehee!

If you're wanting to do it, I say go for it. You've got the face and head to make it look good. (Plus, unlike some of our poor guys (whom I think look just as good without the hair), you can grow it back.)

Now that I've seen both pictures, I like you "clean shaven" even better than I already did. (I'm so surprised to hear myself saying that. I'm normally a bit more conservative than that!)
