Should Muslims acknowledge the Jews sovereignty over Israel?

So when Middle Easterners defied the laws dictated by a European colonial power on their homeland it put them in the wrong?

Again Palestinians are in the wrong for defying a Colonial European Power?

Dude that situation was squashed with Saddam's death! Kurds are thriving in their home region now.

Oh my goodness you have them Rope's lololololol

I don't agree that Asante has them on the ropes, -

however I am one that finds it rather strange, that in the modern era, the people whom owned the land didn't get it back after the conflicts, and instead, Israel was given part of the land.

Palestine was taken into the Ottoman Empire in 1517, and remained under the rule of the Turks until WWI.

It should have reverted back to such after the conflicts.

Along with the rest of the Middle East?

How about giving Constantinople back to the Greeks too?

How about giving back California and Texas back to Mexico?

Would that also include Papua New Guinea to Germany as well?

If they're going to go by the same arbitrary borders the Europeans carve out for them, it's a bit hypocritical.

Again Palestinians are in the wrong for defying a Colonial European Power?

Are the Jews in the wrong for defying the Palestinians when they tried to exploit arbitrary European-derived borders?

Israeli citizen Arabs are thriving in Israel too. If semi-autonomy is good enough for the Kurds, I guess that's good enough for the Palestinians, right? How about the ones in Western Iran? Besides, you're missing the point. Saddam had to die in order for the Arabs to accept Kurdish semi-autonomy. Before that time, they were constantly trying to put them down. And they only recently are getting their freedom in Syria. And are they concerned about their plight in Turkey? And for all the thriving, Northern Iraq is still a very volatile place. Why are so many attacks focussed on the Kurds?

http://www.france24.com/en/20110519-deadly-bombs-strike-northern-iraq-kirkuk-police-baghdad

The answer is that there's a targeted campaign to try to drive them out of Kirkuk, especially so that they can't participate strongly in the elections. Imagine if these attackers were held to the same scrutiny that you hold aggressive Jewish settlers to!

So unless you advocate FULL independence for the Kurds, I'd stay quiet about Palestinians unless you're cool with the idea of a One State Confederation of City-states under a general Jewish-state banner.

I said modern era.

Why was Germany allowed to revert back to the Germans?

Don't you find it just a little strange that the Brits - a basically Christian nation (with ideas about Jews being God's people, and prophecies about the "holy land") - handed over these lands to the Jews? Rather then let them revert back to the people, as in Germany?

As for Papua New Guinea, neither the Germans or Brits had rights to it, and it should have reverted back to the people. It should not have taken over 90 years to get their independence back from countries trying to exploit them.

I don't see why moral standards magically change within 100 years later and everyone gets to have keeps just because they got it in time. Besides, there are still living Native Americans, there are still living 3rd or 4th generation descendents of the Wounded Knee Massacre. Did everything magically change to a new collective consciousness paradigm after 1945? This concept of the "Modern era" is utterly meaningless claptrap. Was it the "modern era" when the French were trying to retain Algeria? When the Belgians tried to retain the Congo? When the Chinese put down Uighur resistance? When the Russians invaded Chechnya? When the Iranians put down Kurdish rebellion? When Mexican authorities put down Chiapan sectarians? When the Turks obliterated the Greeks? Apparently this concept often only applies to the Jewish state... Other countries get a free pass but for some reason people feel the need to hold Israel to this great standard that NO ONE ELSE is held to. Except on paper.

Germany was allowed to revert to Germany mostly to counter Soviet influence. They were still heavily regulated for a long time by the West and weren't exactly totally independent diplomatically. Japan to this day is required to not have a strong military because the US dictated the terms.

Now if the Germans had no rights to New Guinea, why should the Turks have rights to the Middle East in your logic? Why should the Arabs have rights to Kurdistan? Why should the Arabs have right to areas where there was hardly any Arab settlement in "Palestine"?

When you say the British "handed it over to the Jews", it's quite obvious you haven't taken the 5 minutes to research what actually happened. Which is most usually the case with people who feel the need to get involved in the Israel debate. The British tried their best to prevent the Jews from immigrating with the White Paper and reneged on the Balfour declaration. They cracked down heavily on Jewish resistance activity. They tried to partition the land, of which the borders were arbitrary and new (There was no "Palestine" carved out as such before the British, it was a series of Turkish vilyets), into areas where Jews were the majority. They gave 80% of the Mandate to the Arabs. They didn't hand it over to the Jews. They handed technical jurisdiction over to the UN for one thing. And they did it because it was simply costing them too much to maintain law and order there. The British were no fans of a Jewish state, and they equally "handed over" most of the land to the Arabs. Learn your history before proceeding.

I truly wish people would learn the actual basic history of the situation before feeling the need to get so involved.

This is just what YOU believe it means.

Christians have been claiming all the signs are "NOW" and the end is here, - since Revelation was written. They have all been wrong.

According to you people of the bible didn't exist to you , So how can you speak of things that doesn't exist to you !

Palestine as an Arab state never existed. All those who claim otherwise are dumb or just liers. All those who are muslims or arabs most of the time fall in to the first category as they have never recieved proper education.

With those spelling errors, I wonder who really is the uneducated "lier"

Oh my bad, I am just a Muslim.

Heh I musta be dumb lier

I have to wonder why so many Muslims are spearheading the charge of pushing disinformation, distortions, and half-true versions of the facts, and absolutely refuse to accept any version of events that goes against their narrative. Is it the religion itself? I don't think so. I rather like the Quran, even if it's possibly been modified since Uthman's days. I especially like the verses that specifically say Israel is meant for the People of Moses and that they will triumphantly return to it.

So what is it about the observable correlation between Muslims and militant refusal to accept the actual facts about the history of Israel and Palestinians?

LOL! Bit of a misunderstanding you have there.

The Bible is a collection of some history, poetry, teaching stories, god myth, etc.

I do not have to believe in the supernatural parts, to translate and discuss the Bible, and related exegeses.

Also, I was discussing what people believed AFTER Revelation was written. We have documented examples throughout history. In other words, a lot of them wrote down their beliefs that the SIGNS were NOW, and the END upon us. And of course they were ALL wrong.

NO I did NOT say that.

I said we don't know that Jesus existed.

Quit lying and thinking you have won anything - as you haven't - as shown by all of the intelligent people here telling you how it really is.
