Sickle or Scythe?

Does Death (In your opinion) carry a SICKLE? Or a SCYTHE?

I actually really need an answer. Doesn't matter if it is only one.

And, if there IS a difference between the two, what is it?

Oh, so kind Soultype....
Have you ever used wikipedia before?? It has a lot of information. Also, your signature is almost as depressing as a country song.

Well, seeing as you gave me a good answer, I will change my signature for you.

SoulTYPE01 I K(NOW) you have your particular vision of death but are you familiar with the fact that there are more interpretations that personify this image? May I suggest Neil Gaimen's SANDMAN version of Morpheus' (DREAM) sister DEATH. It is from DC Comics and any comic retailer should carry it. I think that this interpretation of DEATH is more suited to this day and age, and she's cute too.

Thankyou carrdero :)

I have seen many different Deaths. I may follow a sole one, but am open to all other drawings or characteristics.

Carrdero kicks a$$ :)

Soultype , I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference in if Death carries a sickle or scythe . Or rides a combine as far as that goes . :) They are more or less symbolic to the " harvest " of souls . The scythe is two handed and there forth harvests quicker , but that is about it . IMHO . He is the Reaper , so I guess that most see him with a scythe .

Not only that, but she refers to things as 'peachy-keen!' I love her. She's got a pure spirit and a kind soul.

Then, of course, for the antithesis in female Deaths, one can go with Susan from the aforementioned "Discworld' series. Her grandfather is Death (bit of a complicated story, that) so she's inherited a few... traits from him. But I'm gonna go with Standing. I don't think you can go wrong with the Grim Squeaker.
