As a general rule, I like to let people make their case before I judge them wrong.
I don't follow twitter because I'm just not that cool. I like formats that allow a person an almost unlimited space to fully formulate and put forth their ideas.
I've hand a couple PhDs work for me as maintenance guys.
They were no better than average at changing light bulbs or
cleaning toilets than the non-college bound.

As far as the decolonializing astronomy and STEM, with respect ot the Thirty Meter Telescope, many of my Hawaiian friends are upset about it, but as I have a hanai son, and considering his Aliʻi nui bloodlines, I am a damn sight more Hawaiian than many of them, so I remind them that while it may be their sacred mountain, but it's my sacred telescope, and I'm an atheist anyway.
