Skipping through life

Children are often seen skipping. But adults are rarely seen skipping. Some think that skipping is unbecoming for adults. Others have simply lost the spirit or joy of life that motivates skipping. Yet remembering to skip once in a while can help you stay young at heart. I skipped today, just because. Have you skipped lately?

The two aren't mutually exclusive. You could sing and skip at the same time. There's no law against it.
They are not. Alas, skipping is physically uncomfortable for some of us and therefore not an expression of joy.

I don't think I ever have outside of when I had to for gym class as a little kid. But I've never seen it as a gesture of joy and always have had knee problems and a limp.

Its not as fun for the knees or the feet arches when we are all grown up.

I skipped about a month or so ago. I imagine the sight was quite comical for those that witnessed it.

As has been mentioned, skipping doesn't go well with my bad knee. But I do it anyway.

Alternatively, I'm happy to sprawl out where ever I feel the need. I lay on the ground a lot, which tends to throw people(much better than park benches).

My husband is a shopper, and while I was pregnant with my second, I'd get so uncomfortable standing I could hardly bare it. I remember him hmmming and haawwing at the store, and I finally had it and plopped down in the middle of the aisle. It was very liberating to realize the world could be my chair.
