Hi maybe you can help (only if you want to).

I've been hangin out with this guy for over 5 years, and his mom "decided" she didn't like me (for what reason I dunno, I barely talk to her). Anyways, she was looking for a reason to stop me from coming around.

Anyways, she has tried a few things, but everyone saw through them. Now she is telling her son I am a "criminal". (Which, can be proved I am not). When asked by her sons what crime it was I committed, she replied "I don't know, don't ask silly questions."

Now, not going there is fine, but telling people I am a criminal could be classed as defamation of character, correct? Apparently she told another friend's mom the same thing.

What do I do on this?

Write a letter to the woman asking her to substantiate her claim, or to retract it publically in a local newspaper. Tell her If you do not receive her agreement to that, your mother will arrange for a solicitor to write to her.;)

I might just do that :). One problem MICH is that she puts on this christian act when she is around them, (the other parents) but when I am there...a whole new story..

That's why you write. Make sure you don't speak to her; if you can, send the letter so that it has to be signed for by receipt (recorded delivery here- not expensive). Don't be rude, but be assertive. Whatever you do don't talk to the woman again until thios is sorted out.;)
