well i was born december 1989 to both christian/catholic parents, i had a fairly mild religious upbringing, i didnt go to church weekly or really at all but still its was always taught with absolute certainty the Jesus Christ WAS the son of god. so throughout my childhood i was well, an avid believer. I still remember to this day when my aunty died, I was 8 yrs old and wasnt really sure what it meant, but 2 week later, after she had been buried, during one of my religious studies we learnt the story of lazarus' rising and i was taught as a scientific fact(lol) that if you believe in god enough and try hard enough that we as the children of god could do the exact same and all i could ask is why, something just didnt sit.
At the age of 11 during my rebelious stage i became or tried to become an athiest. I dont know why maybe it was influence from one of my close friends regardless it was amusing using logic to refute what was said.

"but that doesnt make sen...." "'....have faith!"
Apart from all this though i never really had the guts to say "Jesus ISNT the son of God" or "Jesus probably never existed" and to be honest i didnt entirely believe it either.
About two years ago now i came to a realisation through the paradox "can god create something so heave that he himself cannot lift" and something a creationist believer said to me about science " Science cannot possibly be right, its studied by man and as man is flawed so is the science, carbon dating is a lie it is fabricated to prove God is wrong, the only truth is Gods word, the bible." I didnt think about it at the time but hey didnt man write the bible didnt someone sit down with, what, a stone tablet and stick and write genesis(also when i say man i mean the original meaning of the word "a member of the species Homo sapiens or all the members of this species collectively, without regard to sex: prehistoric man. ")
The biggest flaw with society is that we think this is society, we think it wont change but really its what we make it. We need to stop saying "ohh ok well thats your opinion and i value it," because really actually to kill an infidel in the name of your lord, thats well.. yeah thats kinda wrong. Its time to strip society bare, throw out the garbage and build for a better tomorrow.
