Smilies

I can't see the pictures of smilies, and never see the ascii unless I reply with a quote. Is there a setting for displaying the smilies simply plain ascii? I use a text-only browser (elinks), and my computer's sole port I could hook a mouse up to (the serial port) is taken up by my modem.

I looked in my control panel and didn't see an option, but of course, I may have over-looked it. If there isn't, that would be a very useful feature for those of us on old systems that can't use the modern graphical browsers.

Hey sweetie...hit the go advanced thingy at the bottom:woohoo:

Thanks, but that's not exactly what I'm needing.

When I read your post, I read:

Hey sweetie...hit the go advanced thingy at the bottom

However, when I respond to your message, I see you have a ":woohoo:" attached. It's an emoticon, and it displays as a picture. I couldn't see that it existed until I replied.

What you referenced me to is the editor, and that's not too much of a problem for me. I can input the code manually.

Thanks again, though for trying.
