Probably the wrong forum for this, but someone here might know..

Using Snes9x v1.43, how do I set up a macro to go Z, A , A repeatedly?

I don't know...I'll have to install it and try it. I'll put it in my ports script for the software I want installed :).

EDIT:

I don't know what controller you use, but there are several controllers that will do that programming for you. Since you're on XP, it shouldn't be a problem picking up one. I don't have a clue if that's supported under Linux or *BSD though.

Also keep in mind, it would be good if you could netplay so I can show you the glitch I am encountering and not getting around..

Use a keyboard config for it, N. That's why I meant the Z and A keys :)

I do use a keyboard most of the time. I picked up a used controller (with one of the analog sticks broke), so I'm probably going to enable the joy module. Although, if I decide to reinstall Linux in place of FreeBSD so I can get my UT client working, I'll probably build an adaptor for my old SNES controllers. It'd be nice to play Super Metroid with a pad again. My SNES and games have been broken for a long time now...

Yes, that is fun..I had a PC DUAL shock that had the greatest accuracy, and wasn't as "limited" as the keyboard. It also is best to use joystick as diagonals do not like certain Frame Rates.......

I can imagine. I find that diagonals are terrible on a keyboard anyway. That's why I've got half a mind to build an adaptor for my old pads.

I know. It's probably cheaper for me to build it, but that's not even the thing for me. It's that by doing it, I learn more. It's kind of like editing the code and compiling the program. I may not be the most skilled person, but it's very fun to learn...
